Dr. Dan Petroni has a special interest in patients with food & drug allergy, immunodeficiency, and hereditary angioedema. As a joint MD and PhD, Dr. Petroni is deeply involved in clinical and basic allergy research and is Executive Director of the Seattle Allergy & Asthma Research Institute and the Northwest Food Allergy Treatment & Research Center. He is the primary investigator on numerous research studies including studies on asthma, urticaria, origins and etiology of food allergy, and new food immunotherapies. Dr. Petroni holds both a medical degree and PhD in pharmacology from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of California Davis Medical Center in 2014, followed by an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Washington in 2016.
