Allison Anderson

NP

While completing her master’s degree in nursing at UCSF, Allison began her career as a school nurse. Struck by the prevalence of asthma and food allergy in her school district, she pursued a specialty clinical rotation in the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital’s Pediatric Asthma and Allergy Clinic, where she gained experience diagnosing and treating conditions related to atopy. Prior to joining Latitude Food Allergy Care, Allison worked at an asthma and allergy clinic in San Francisco and Marin, where she worked closely with patients to accurately diagnose and manage conditions such as allergic rhinitis, food allergy, asthma, and eczema. Allison loves working with children and their families to develop individualized plans that allow them to manage their chronic conditions so that they can enjoy full, active, and fun childhood experiences. She is excited to focus on food allergy and offer evidenced-based therapies to families living with food allergies. In November 2020, she was included in the UCSF School of Nursing list of 40 rising nurse leaders under 40.
