Summary

Create engaging, empathetic, and educational content that reflects the expertise and compassion of our physicians and care teams. You are the right person if you’re curious, compassionate, creative and excited to take ownership of content planning and production, building on what’s already performing while testing new formats to help us grow our presence. You will work closely with marketing and clinical partners to drive content planning, daily publishing, community monitoring, and performance tracking.

This is a REMOTE full-time position (ideally in the San Francisco Bay Area as our founders and marketing team are located here) with the expectation that you are in our clinics in both California and New York capturing content with care teams and patients on a monthly basis.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Drive content planning and publishing, including developing a content calendar that reflects key campaigns, clinic launches, and food allergy community insights.
  • Write captions, create and optimize imagery, and prepare assets (videos, photography, patient testimonials and media coverage) for approval across brand channels (priorities: Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube).
  • Capture and edit short-form video (Reels, Stories, YouTube shorts) using iPhone-level production.
  • Day-to-day channel and community management, including performance monitoring, reporting analytics and identifying opportunities for community interaction.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and select executives to develop educational and brand-aligned social content.
  • Translate ideas into high-quality image, video, and written content, while continuously optimizing based on platform trends and performance insights.
  • Share ownership of inbound community engagement by monitoring comments and messages, responding appropriately, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Support outbound engagement by building visibility and relationships through thoughtful interactions with relevant creator, influencer, and brand accounts in communities aligned with our core customer.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.

  • Drive content planning and publishing, including developing a content calendar that reflects key campaigns, clinic launches, and food allergy community insights.
  • Write captions, create and optimize imagery, and prepare assets (videos, photography, patient testimonials and media coverage) for approval across brand channels (priorities: Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube).
  • Capture and edit short-form video (Reels, Stories, YouTube shorts) using iPhone-level production.
  • Day-to-day channel and community management, including performance monitoring, reporting analytics and identifying opportunities for community interaction.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and select executives to develop educational and brand-aligned social content.
  • Translate ideas into high-quality image, video, and written content, while continuously optimizing based on platform trends and performance insights.
  • Share ownership of inbound community engagement by monitoring comments and messages, responding appropriately, and escalating issues as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on social media experience, preferably in healthcare, wellness or another regulated category; work with parenting or mission-driven brands is a plus.

Latitude Food Allergy Care

Latitude Food Allergy Care is the leading network of clinics providing life-changing testing and treatment, including oral immunotherapy (OIT), to help families with food allergies live more freely. Latitude was founded in 2018 by food allergy parents in partnership with world-renowned researchers to provide an exceptional patient experience specifically designed for the needs of food allergy patients of all ages. Led by board-certified allergists, Latitude has provided evidence-based solutions like OIT to more than 11,000 patients with single and multiple food allergies, including those with the most severe food allergies.

Latitude currently has 11 clinics — four in Northern California, three in NYC, and four in Southern California — and is expanding across the country.

Role

The NP or PA will work alongside our allergist to deliver world-class food allergy treatment and care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive pediatric experience but will be working with all ages. This ideal candidate will have experience in, or the ability to quickly gain the skills to, manage food allergies in all age groups, and will also demonstrate a patient-centered approach that is delivered with the highest level of compassion. Responsibilities will include interpreting allergy blood tests and skin tests, performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests, performing oral food challenges, performing oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment, and managing conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, environmental and food allergy.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work closely with the allergist to support a patient through their diagnostic and treatment journey:
  • Interpret allergy blood tests and skin tests
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests
  • Perform allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots)
  • Perform oral food challenges
  • Perform oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment
  • Other responsibilities may include placing allergy skin tests, administering injections, preparing oral immunotherapy doses, ordering labs, scheduling, ordering medications
  • Proactive patient care including patient education, monitoring and responding to patient calls, messages, daily home treatment logs, and EMR messages
  • Support and assist in referral marketing activities
  • If necessary, manage other allergic conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, etc.
  • On-call responsibilities (distributed proportionally among providers and nurses)

Qualifications

  • Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a valid license in the state of NY (may be required to gain NJ, CT, or CA license in addition to NY)
  • The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing the lives of families through excellent healthcare
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Experience managing conditions such as asthma, allergy shots, allergic rhinitis, environmental and food allergy
  • Personable and professional, especially with pediatric patients and their parents
