Role

The NP or PA will work alongside our allergist to deliver world-class food allergy treatment and care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive pediatric experience but will be working with all ages. This ideal candidate will have experience in, or the ability to quickly gain the skills to, manage food allergies in all age groups, and will also demonstrate a patient-centered approach that is delivered with the highest level of compassion. Responsibilities will include interpreting allergy blood tests and skin tests, performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests, performing oral food challenges, performing oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment, and managing conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, environmental and food allergy.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work closely with the allergist to support a patient through their diagnostic and treatment journey:
  • Interpret allergy blood tests and skin tests
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests
  • Perform allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots)

  • Perform oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment
