Debbie Chizever Taback has been a key bridge between researchers and the food allergy community for several years, having led the communications for the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University. At Stanford, she worked closely with Dr. Kari Nadeau and other top researchers to translate the science of food allergy for parents, patients, clinicians and other researchers through multiple channels.
Today, as a co-founder of Latitude Food Allergy Care, together with Kimberley Yates and Julie Bitler, Debbie has taken the progress made at Stanford and other institutions to create greater access to exceptional care, lifesaving treatments and long term support.
Debbie’s professional experience includes more than a decade marketing medical devices and diagnostics for clients such as Siemens Medical, Carl Zeiss Meditec, Beckman Coulter, and Natus Medical. As the mother of three children with food allergies, she’s experienced first-hand the challenges and triumphs that come with diagnosis, treatment and long-term food allergy care — empowering a deep commitment to help improve the lives of all families living with food allergies. Debbie holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
