Alexander Sidhom

MD

Headshot of Alex Sidhom MD

Dr. Alex Sidhom is a board-certified allergist and immunologist and pediatrician dedicated to providing evidence-based care for food-allergic patients of all ages. His clinical experience ranges from providing oral immunotherapy (OIT) and biologic therapies to the management of complex immunodeficiencies, with a focus on combining evidence-based medicine and empathy to improve outcomes.

He completed his allergy and immunology fellowship at UCLA, a world-renowned leader in pediatric medicine and research. During his fellowship — in addition to working closely with patients with food allergies — he formed a meaningful, large-scale collaboration between UCLA Health and the Los Angeles Unified School District to educate school nurses on identifying and managing food allergy reactions. He is excited to support that community collaboration in his role at Latitude.

Dr. Sidhom received his medical degree from the University of Limerick Medical School in Ireland before completing his pediatric residency at UCSF in Fresno, California. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Sidhom conducted research as a research assistant at the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. He has presented several published research abstracts at meetings of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI), and at the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID). He is a member of both the AAAAI and the ACAAI.

Dr. Sidhom currently sees patients at the Latitude West LA and Sherman Oaks clinics. Beginning in January, he will lead care in our new Pasadena clinic.
