Megan Bannon

MD

Dr. Megan Bannon is a board-certified pediatrician and a board-eligible allergist and immunologist dedicated to providing evidence-based care for food-allergic patients of all ages.

She completed her allergy and immunology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a national and world-renowned leader in pediatric medicine and research. During her fellowship she developed a strong focus in pediatric food allergy and received comprehensive training in oral immunotherapy. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, prior to completing her pediatric residency at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Prior to her medical training, Dr. Bannon conducted basic science research at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (one of the National Institutes of Health). That role ignited her passion for research. She has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented extensively at national conferences, with a particular interest in making food allergy management strategies more accessible to all families. She is a member of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI).

Dr. Bannon provides care at the Latitude Upper East Side and Brooklyn clinics.
