Board-certified allergist and immunologist Dr. Kari Nadeau — a co-founder at Latitude Food Allergy Care — pioneered food allergy treatment with pivotal clinical trials and mechanistic studies at Stanford University. She was the founding executive director of the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford, founded the Julia and David Koch Clinic at the Center, and is formerly the Nadissy Foundation Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is currently the Chair of the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and an adjunct professor at Stanford University.

Dr. Nadeau completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Haverford College. She earned both an MD and a PhD in biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology from Harvard Medical School. She completed a pediatric internship and residency at Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to her fellowship training she also worked in the biopharmaceutical industry, where she helped secure FDA approval for two biologics in immunology and oncology. She then completed her fellowship in allergy and immunology at Stanford University.
Dr. Nadeau is a current member of the National Academy of Medicine, the WHO Air Pollution and Health Scientific Advisory Group (SAG), and the U.S. EPA Children’s Health Protection Committee. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI).
